Zaino layer question

OK, I received my ZFX and Z2 kit, but the Z6 won't arrive til Monday. Can I put a first coat on this weekend and then next weekend add the 2nd layer? I will need to use my car next week, so I will need to do another car wash. Do most of you do your multiple layers in one day? It says the Z6 is important to add between layers...do you follow this advice?

Z6 helps in between layers but I dont think its mandatory. You could do 1 layer now then another layer later but its just more work.

You will have make sure you car is very clean and spotless again. Most people do 3 layers because its the max in one day.

I would do all 3 now or all 3 when you get you Z6.

Heres the scoop:

ZFX should be used at most twice a year on daily drivers or once a year on show cars

Use if ZFX allows to you do multiple coats (up to 3) in one day. If you don't plan on doing multiple coats in a day, don't bother with the ZFX, although I think it does help make a better bond for the very first coat. I would wait for the Z6 because it helps 1 - when sprayed on applicator - lets you apply a super think layer of Z5 or Z2. 2 - In between coats helps remove streaks and makes the next coat go on and off easier!

As mentioned above, be sure to start with a perfectly clean, swirl free car first. Z5 is only a filler not a remover.

Z5 and Z2 are interchangeable but you should always finish with Z2 because it provides a higher shine.

Hope this helps!!!
