Lexol vs wipes

so..I bought lexol..applied it about six months ago..and I dunno..it seems like you have to do more work to apply this thing vs the wipes..

I believe it took like like an hour to apply lexol..and it seems that its not as smooth as the wipes..

the wipes took me less than 30 minutes too apply...

usually everytime my friend drives with me..he will say..wow your leather is smooth...yea..i just conditioned it..and everytime he has said that..it was with the wipes..

does anyone know if lexol vs the wipes..which one has better long term protection..is it all the same?

I like the spray-on Lexol better. If you use an application sponge to apply it, let it soak in for 30 min or so, then buff it out, it seems to do a better job than the wipes for me.
