Rim Problem....

I was washing my car today and when it was time to clean the rims...i started and i felt that some parts of one of the rims on the car were very rough...there were like a couple small patches here and there....i was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if they did...if there is anyway to get rid of those patches; im guessing that that's where the clear coat came off....but im not sure at all!!!

Is it visible? If so, can you post a pic so we can see what you are talking about? Normally, you can see the places where the clear coat has been damaged.

None-the-less, I hear "Wheel Wax" is pretty good stuff. Haven't purchased myself but everyone else seems to like it.

I would make sure that no clear is missing first. If it's contamination on top of the wheel surface I would try a metal polish to clean them up. I use the P21S Finish Restorer to clean up mine, exhaust, anything metal/chrome really and it works great. If your looking for some protection for your wheels you can use a wheel sealant to protect them from future problems. The wheel sealant protects your wheels from brake dust, contamination, water marks, etc. I find this step to be the best preventitive step you can take to make sure your wheels always look good.
