Clear bra on doors??
Hi, did a search on this but could not find anything.
Has anyone thought about putting the clear 'bra' film on their door panels to protect it from door dings in parking lots? Would it even work for something like that? I figure if it'll stop a flying rock it should help with the dings?
Is something like this even feasible, or cost effective?

I doubt it would protect from the ding, but may ease any damage from getting dinged such as paint scuffs, paint chips, or something of that nature. I doubt it would do anything about the actual "dent".
And I don't think it would be cost effective. Would prolly be cheaper to pay for the dings to get fixed if and when they happen.
Be proactive and park far away. It's not 100% ding proof, but sure helps.
Good Luck

The film can provide some protection as it absorbs some of the impact. However, there's no guarantee for it. We've done whole vehicles at a time and haven't heard of any damage like that....but then again, for those who could afford such coverage, these cars rarely get driven anyway.
