Black Chrome Badging?

Just picked up my Graphite Grey coupe last week. Would love to put "Black Chrome Badging" on the trunk lid and front grill. Anyone know where to get 'em? I spoke with three different dealers here in L.A.; no one had a clue.
Thanks in advance for any help.

My dealer (Tustin) did it on my Black coupe upon delivery.

Got a picture of that? I was toying with the idea, but decided it'd look cheap on a black coupe, like the emblems were left on during a custom paint job.

Re: Black Chrome Badging?

I will post a pic this afternoon/evening. I was toying with the idea the couple of days before I got the coupe. I thought it would be too dark and blend with the car. But when I saw it...it is great. It is dark enough, but light enough against black to have a nice contrast. The only thing I wish they would have black chromed was the entire front grill. They only did the front logo. it looks good though on the front.

Re: Black Chrome Badging?

Thanks, ducatiguy. Brush Plating in Redondo Beach, CA offers the four-piece badge set in Black Chrome - price $195 + $5 UPS shipping. You get the front & back Mt. Fuji logos, the G35 and INFINITI letters. The price is high, but they should complete the look on my Diamond Graphite coupé.

Felix,

Could you post pics of your coupe when you get them installed? I was thinking of doing this for my DG, but I'm having trouble visualizing it.

Re: Black Chrome Badging?

When I was at the dealer 2 weeks ago, placing my order for a DG G35C 6MT, I saw the black chrome badges on an automatic DG Coupe, and was so impressed with the way the looked I asked for them to be added to my G35. I can tell you that they make the car look both sportier & classier at the same time.

G35C on order!!

Re: Black Chrome Badging?

The effect is subtle, but it is more noticeable in certain lighting conditions. I'm pleased with how it looks...slightly different and kinda classy. The front Mt. Fuji logo exactly matches the grill color.
