i just detailed my car yesterday and have nice wifebeater tan marks to show for it...wash , clay , and zymol cleaner wax. I have a question thou..

i usually use nxt wax..i was wondering can i layer the nxt wax on top of the zymol? would it be better...be worse or just more of an arm workout???

 

I think it would be a good addition as it should add more gloss than the zymol. I used Zymol 1st, polish 2nd, and then some TW Platium last...

Kind of off-topic, but you should never wash/wax a car in direct sunlight. Need to be in the shade. Your results will be much better and the effort will be far less.

Yes you should follow up with a coat of wax or sealant. Keep it simple..
1. wash
2. clay
3. cleaner wax/polish
4. wax/sealant..

BTW you did a good job..
