My car had gotten dusty and then it got wet from some rain. You know how the dirt will kind of pool in a lot of areas becuase of the water, well I had a ton of these on my hood. After cleaning my car and washing my hood about 5 times, they are still on there. Not sure how it works, but is it possible that these were there before i put my last coat of wax/polish on and now they are sealed under the coat? I am using all zaino products BTW.
Any suggestions?

Yep, try an acid bath (white distilled vinegar on a cotton towel), then Z7. If that doesn't help, try a claybar and then Z5/Z2 all over again.

 

i parked my Jeep near a water sprinkler. That hard water got all over the car and i didn't wash it off for sometime and even drove the car a couple times (which probably cooked the spots right into the hood) and i couldnt get the spots off the hood even with a claybar..

I hope you don't run into the same thing.

No spots are Perm! You need to find a pep boys, and buy yourself some Meguires Body Scrub! And do the whole car if needed then use some wax on it like NXT.

 

I vote for the vinegar solution, you need to breakup the hard water deposits

 

I would recommend that you do two steps of polish. The water spots have hardened on to your clear coat and can easily be removed with the right products and some patience. I would recommend the Poorboy's World Super Swirl Remover 2.5 to remove the water spots. This is an abrassive polish that will remove an ultra thin layer of your clear coat that is securing the water spots. Then follow up with a coat of finsihing polish with the Poorboy's World Super Swirl Remover 1.0. This will remove any microscratches and remove any hazing that is left in the paint. I detail professionally and this is the most popular upgrade people request to reduce scratches, swirls, water marks, etc. This polish can applied by hand, orbital buffer or rotary buffer. If your using a buffer I would recommend a cutting pad. If your doing it by hand use a clean applicator and don't mix the products on it, use a different pad for each product. When you polish a car it removes all the old wax so it's also important to wax after it.

i highly recommend 3M Perfect It rubbing compound. takes the water spots off like butter. i've used it for hard water (sprinklers), waterspots from the rain at 5am in the morning then baked by the sun all day at work. i used it to clear up the waterspots behind my license thing too. follow up with either sealant, wax/polish. you could use 3M Perfect It, or Meguiars scratch X. but, meguiars don't take it off like butter.

 

what can you do to take the water spots off the windows????

Water spots on glass can be removed with Glass Scrub for $4. A great investment of money to get a clear winshield and safe driving back. I had the same problem and couldn't see well when it rained or was foggy.
