Paint chipped on door

All,
I just posted this in the G35 Sedan forum, but realized it should probably go in the detailing forum, so here goes...

My wife just took delivery on her Twilight Blue G35 before Thanksgiving. We got it at night, so weren't able to give it a THOROUGH exterior inspection. However, when we looked at it carefully, we noticed 2 places on the passenger door that look like they must have been hit by a pebble during transportation. The paint is chipped in 2 places (small), although there are no indentations.

My wife called the dealer, who said they would look at it.
What should we reasonably expect the dealer to do in this case? Incidentally, they did not fill out the pre-delivery checklist. We found a blank one in the car yesterday.

Thanks,
cbarry

They will more than likely repair it at no cost to you. Since you took delivery at night and they did not do the walk around with you.

Merlin.

Re: Paint chipped on door

Yea most likely everything should be fine. My dealer handed me the keys at night and did a walk around with me but reminded me if I should see any blemishes in the car in the morning to contact them and they'll repair it at no cost. Hope this is the case for you. Enjoy the car!
