How soon do u guys recommend cleaning/conditioning the leather and interior on a brand new car that just got delivered?

 

Zaino bros or Lexol. I JUST finished conditioning my leather with Zaino and it smells amazing (and feel great too).

 

I do mine every other time I wash it.
I'd do it at least once a month, more if you keep it in the sun alot.

 

I love Zaino's leather products, as well as any Sonus products. Remember that leather cleaning and conditioning are two different things. Cleaning leather can be done often, and it will help keep the leather shiny, but not greasy. Conditioning, on the other hand, should be done much less often depending on the climate you're in and how you garage the car. If you're in a hot dry climate conditioning every month isn't a bad idea. If you're in a climate with even moderate humidity, you shouldn't condition more than once every 2-3 months. Conditioning too often can cause the leather to wear a little quicker because the leather won't absorb the oils, so they'll sit on top and evaporate which can cause cracking.

I love the smell of Zaino's leather conditioner, but I only use it every 3-4 months. The cleaner doesn't smell as good, but it smells good enough - I use it probably twice a month very lightly.

Clean every other wash (every 2 weeks), Condition every few months. That's about all you need to keep it looking new.

Pristine Clean by Leatherique is by far the best leather cleaner and conditioner on the market. I detail professionally and I haven't found a product yet that rivals it's quality. Its the leather cleaner of choice for Bently's and Rolls Royce owners club.

 

Sounds like its expensive? There a site or store that carries this? i wanna check it out, never heard of it before.

You can get all Leatherique products at that link. This product uses a complex blend of collagens that are the absolute best mix of cleaner and conditioner for leather that I have found. You can apply this product by hand or with a cloth. I just wipe it on with medium to light pressure. Let it sit for about 15 - 20 minutes, during this time the surfacants in the conditioner help release contaminates from the leather and push them up to the surface. Now to remove the contaminates i use a damp cloth with medium to light pressure and wipe the seats down thoroughly. I also follow it up with a dry cloth to make sure I have soaked up everything. After this process is completed your seats will be looking pristine hence the name leatherique pristine clean.

 

i think lexol is a great product
all zaino product is so expensive...and also, i think it's overpriced.
friend of mine uses zainos on his bimmer and compare to mine, i done see that huge difference comparing that twice the money(or more) goes to zaino.
