hey everyone.
i made a thread about a week ago regarding scratches on plastic/leather components inside of car.
so i got it last week and i applied on side of my doors, which is leather.
beginning, it made it shine and all goody...so i applied all over the interior.
after awhile, a day later when i got in the car, all these components that i applied on turn into white(?) color
it happens when it's dried...
i think i @#$%ed up my interior...haha...
i am in a deep crap...
anyone wanna help me out?

I don't mean to be a jerk, but why on earth did you put that on leather? I looked at your last post and I didn't see anyone recommend using it that way. I guess I am a jerk. Sorry, and good luck.

 

you may be able to remove it with a good damp microfiber towel to help pull the polish off your leather... but seriously... why on earth did you do that? Poorboy is a polish... not a leather/vinyl cleaner/protectant.

but second thing i realized was the product description.
it says that it works on plastic component as well.
my bad...btw i got those off.

ps. i didn't put them on leather component. i thought it was but when i rechecked out for material, it was plastic.

 

SSR 2.5 is for exterior use only. You can use it on headlights, taillights, non-tinted glass, or metal, but mostly it's for use on paint. I don't use it on anything but paint since there are better products for exterior plastic and metal.

As for the interior. Ya, don't use it there.

For scratches on interior plastic you're going to have a tough time. That stuff isn't very hard, so any abrasive will take off a lot of material. Better of too just clean it really well then protect with 303 or some other plastic protectant.

 

Everyone make mistakes. I hope the others' suggestions work out.

i am so careful with my car but sometimes i take passengers, etc and i see all these scratches.
it drives me crazy!
not really seeing dif by using SSR2.5...i am not really sure how this thing works heh

 

If you read the posts.. SSR2.5 and other automotive polishes are for your paint. Read the directions. Read up online on how to use the product properly. Did you use it on your paint?

303 cleaner should be able to clean up the areas you used SSR2.5 on. And I mean this is for the INTERIOR parts that you messed up on. I don't think I can get any clearer.
