Dude,

I was at the shop and watched them install Clear Bra on my 6MT coupe. You do NOT want to try this as a rookie!!! This is definitely a job to be done by the pros! Couple the fact that even if you get the directions + you don't know what your're doing = disaster and lot's of bubbles.

You saved some bucks on eBay - might as well use those savings for a professional installer.

I tried to install the front lip clear bar and ended up trowing everything in the garbage. Not recommended...

You will likely do one of two things if you try it yourself with a one pc application:

1. try and install it, but doesn't come out right and end up leaving it on with bubbles
2. not satisfied at all after spending an entire day on it and then throwing it away

Do not even attempt to try to do it. It is something that needs to be done by a seasoned installer.

Does the clear bra protect the car from its fragil paint, such as rock chips on the car? and can I just use touch up paint before to cover these spots up before put on the clear bra?

u got a coupe or sedan? DIY a sedan = possible....DIY coupe = no way, too many curves to get it right the first time....see the thread below from some pics and a professional source to answer your questions

the clear bra protects the paint from rock chips and yes you can touch up the spots first before installing the bra.......
