I have read on this site and many other web sites that most leather interiors in cars today are in fact coated with a clear coat similar to vinyl which is supposed to protect the seats and keep them looking newer longer. If the seats are coated with this clear coat, then you are supposed to care for the seats as if they were vinyl, not leather. Does anybody know if the seats in the g are clear coated?

Yeah, I verified with the dealer. The Infiniti seats are not coated.
