whats the best tire dressing product?
would like user feedback on best tire dressing product. i've tried generic tire foam which was no good and armor all's extreme tire shine spray which is better but the nozzle sucks since it shoots a thin stream instead of a fine mist. any good products/recommendations?

Re: whats the best tire dressing product?
I've used quite a bit of the products out there over the years and think that Zaino's Z16 is the best and lasts the longest...http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...ory_Code=Zaino
Plus, I like the fact that it's not the shiniest tire dressing out there, which is the look I prefer.

Re: whats the best tire dressing product?
Armorall tire foam is working well for me. In the past, I didn't know how to use it, and it never lasted. It's all about how you apply it.
1) Clean the tire with soap
2) Dry the tire completely.
3) Spray on the foam, and wipe it with a sponge applicator.
4) Leave the car outside so that the tires are exposed to sun.
5) Once you get the glossy look, go through the tire with the sponge applicator one more time.
Follow these steps, and you will get a long lasting shine. This is great, if you don't like a deep shine. I don't get any overspray on the side of my car or the rims - it's sticks to the tire. I do this all the time, and it lasts me at least a week, until my next car wash . Good luck.

Re: whats the best tire dressing product?
im with zorro on the Armorall, i get the tirefoam thats in the black bottle with the gold top. You MUST use a sponge applicator as zorro said.
If you want it super shiny, follow Zorro's directions.
If you want a clean look with moderate shine that will last weeks... instead of applying the product on the entire wheel, just spray some of the product itself onto the foam applicator and wipe that onto the wheel. That way you will be using about 75% less product too.

Re: whats the best tire dressing product?
You are right Rambo, I forgot to mention that I don't apply the foam on the entire wheel. I just apply a little bit on four points of the wheel, and then spread it with the spunge applicator. If I went ahead and apply it on the entire wheel, it would be supper glossy, as you said.
Sometimes I apply a second coat just to see if it will be shinier than the car itself with Zaino on it . I am glad that there are others who use a similar technique to mine.

well, tires still clean and shiny, and NO overspray residue on the rims either.
