problem with sap

hey guys, my mom took my IP coupe to work with her today and parked it under these trees, and what looks to be sap dripped on my hood, and I have tried soo many things to try to get it off but it wont come off and its really annoying me. Do you guys have any tips or suggestions on how to try to get it off?...thanks

Try using Stoner's Tarminator . . . Tar, Grease & Sap Remover.

I hear good things about Tarminator. I have some but have not tried it yet. The key is going to be to try to dissolve as much as possible without any hardsh scrubbing. Tarminator should take care of that. Once it is all gone, I would wash the surface and then clay it. A good deal of that sap will still be attached to the paint I am sure. Following the clay, I would seal/wax it again as the tar removers are great at removing wax.

Let us know how it works out.

Don't concern yourself with sap..........

For many years I've used Zymol paste it protects your
paint from sap. Sap will wash off with cold water
which is all I use when washing my G. I'm talking
pine tree sap too, that sticky $hit!
