Re: Car Detailer in Bay Area
If you live close to or are willing to drive to San Jose, I'd recommend AJ Auto Detailing (702 Coleman Ave, SJ, a few blocks from SJ Intl. Airport). I took my twilight blue G35 sedan to them a few days ago to get some swirl marks removed. They took almost 3 hours to detail the car, remove the swirls, and put on a polymer sealer wax. They really do take their time. They also don't use recycled water to clean (like a lot of car washes do) and actually use their own non-tap water during the final wash to prevent water stains. They've been consistently ranked as the number one auto detailer in the south bay area. I was really impressed with the final results. They're open from 8am to 6am, Monday through Saturday, and dont' require appointments.

the key to keeping swirl marks away is to get a layer of sealant (Zaino or Klasse) and then Wax after that has cured.
The extra layer will keep the swirl marks on the wax instead of on the clearcoat.
Try using a good quality microfiber wash pad and microfiber towels to dry. Blott dry and dont wipe.
If you want tips, etc head to the autopia carport forums. Excellent tips, product reviews, and a place to ask questions.

It is extra hard to keep swirl marks away from a dark colored car as everything shows!
