Is "Chenille" 100% cotton??

Is "Chenille" 100% cotton??
I'm using a "chenille" wash mitt. Both The detailer's choice and turtle wax brands. Does anyone know if chenille is by nature a 100% cotton material?

It does not specify on the packaging, that its in fact 100% cotton. Wondering if it could contain polyester or some other material that may damage my finish.
