20% Tint Good?

20% Tint Good?
I live in Southern Cali and I got free tint thrown in with the purchase of my car.
So, I wanted to know what percentage tint I should get. I have a Twilight Blue Coupe and I was thinking 20% all the way around. What do you guys think?
Should I get darker or lighter?

20% would look good on your CB coupe. But I would be worried about getting tickets in CA. I personally like 30% or 35% tint, that's what I have on my coupe

I just got 35% (legal limit in my state) for my black with willow interior. It makes a big difference IMO. I would visit some shops and look at some cars with different percentage tints before making a decision.

I got 35% on all side windows, and 15% on the back window. Even 35% makes a dark car look MUCH better- I've got B.O. (the color-- stop laughing). If you go beyond the legal limit, though, don't expect too much sympathy if you get a ticket-- I understand my back window is illegal, so I'll pay the fine if need be, and I don't expect anyone to weep for me. I got 28% all around (xcept the windshield) yeah I thought it was weird but that's what I got. I didn't know if it was going to turn out too dark but it ended up being a tad too light. The front windshield lets in so much light that whatever you get will seem lighter. I wish I would've gone for the 20% instead. Oh well. Still looks awesome.

Got mine done from dealer. 35% is leagal her in FL so I had no choice.
The one thing they did great though was the tint job itself. Computer cut so it fit great! Best tint job I ever got!

How does this sound?
20% for the sides and 15% for the rear.
Btw, I'm doing this through the dealer and they are using an independant tint shop, so they won't really car what percentage I get, right?

It shouldn't matter. You might need to sign a form saying that the tint shop is not responsible for you getting a ticket for the front side windows.

How does my idea sound guys? 15% sides and 20% back? Or should I go 20% all the way around?
