NXT is oil-rich and will just mask/fill the swirls. A few days or washes later and they will be back. Luckily, or unluckily depending on how you see it, Infiniti uses a VERY soft clear coat. This means it is easy to remove swirls but also easy to create them. I would suggest trying some Menzerna Final Polish and see if that takes them out. If not, step it up to Intensive Polish. I find that IP will get virtually anything out of the Infiniti clear.

As for a final wax/sealant, I use Poorboy's EX-P on my DG and love it. If you want to try some, I can send you some. Zaino is another good product. I use that on my wife's car. I would stay away from a straight carnuba due to longevity. Topping a sealant with Carnuba is an option though if you just want to "warm" the appearance.

as much as i hate to say it, zaino typically works better on lighter color cars. that being said, you will most likely need a machine to *remove* swirls. so if you don't feel like doing it yourself, then bring it to someone and pay them to remove the for you. while you're at it, you can have them detail (zaino) your DG

The IP is a polish. It will need to be followed up by a sealant to protect the newly polished surface. Menzerna Intensive Polish can be had at www.properautocare.com I think. They may carry Poorboy's as well but I don't remember. If not, Poorboys can be found at www.poorboysworld.com. Steve, the owner, is a great guy and car fanatic.

I agree with WRAH. From my experience, it is better on darker colored cars. This is why I don't use it on my DG.

i've done both zaino and klasse/meguiars and a ton of other stuff on my black cars, and I prefer the sealant/carnuba combo on dark cars and zaino on lighter cars.

Regardless of Zaino on dark or light cars, my frustration with so many poster's misconception is that Zaino is more work to put on.
Reality- Zaino is no more difficult to apply than any other product, and I would argue, easier than most. Wash your car, apply a coat of Z2. WIPE OFF (no buffing req'd). Call it a day. The result will be far superior to almost any other lazy effort using other product. Period.

Zaino, like all companies, wants you to be blown away-really frickin excited about your result. Regardless of whether you use McGuires, Mothers, Zymol...if you want amazing, put in a little more effort. Every top solution starts with stripping and clay barring. (washing with Dawn requires exactly the square root of a donut hole more effort than using anything else to wash your car, btw.) If you're using M or M, or most others, there's a detailing spray involved. If you want to get rid of swirls (because, through your ignorance- and I mean lack of knowing here, no insult, I used to do the same), then there is some polishing involved [again, in this regard, Z5 is easier, and requires less skill than polishing, but who's counting?].
So go ahead, buy Zaino car wash since you need some anyway, and buy some Z2- everything after that is just gravy- not essential.

That said, I'm OCD, so I go thru the whole Zaino shebang, and love the result on my DG Coupe

And I feel better now, having got that rant off my chest.

Cheers,
Derek

I have gotten great results with NXT Tech wax. I also use the spray on NXT booster wax in between waxing with NXT. Easy to put on, awesome shine, fair durability. I keep my G garaged, so I don't really have much problem with the elements.

Turtle wax ice...I was skeptical but after applying it to my dg coupe it looks good. Easy to put on and take off...took total of 20 mins to apply and remove.
