Any tips for cleaning rivets on wheels

I would appreciate any tips for reducing the time required to clean my wheels. The rivets look nice but they are a pain to keep clean. Anything that can be done besides the tedious/painstaking small towel method. I am currently looking to find a small brush or sponge to assist me this year. Anyone else have any tips?
Thanks
Gene

I got the same tip(pun not intended) at the z website. How much longer using q-tips instead of towel method? I wanted something that would reduce time. Q-tips seem like they would be just as tedious. I will try it the 1st weekend we do not have rain here.

I would try a small brush over a qtip; check the various detail suppliers mentioned on this site.

Soft bristle make-up brush works fantastic. I used to have the same trouble with my Maxima - stole one from my wife and was addicted.

No, it wasn't my make-up brush. LOL..

Exactly why I hate rivets...I can feel your pain from here....Been there done that, I will never get rivets on my rims ever again. Like everyone said Q-tips are the best but take forever.

I use q-tips too, but I find it's much faster 99% of the time to spray some non-acidic rim cleaner in the rivets then hit them with a concentrated jet from the hose. Cheers.
