HELP!! Roommate ruined my Volks?

While I was overseas, my roommate was taking care of my car for me. She didnt realize you couldnt just spray tire shine all over the wheels, so I now have streaks all over my new wheels. Ive tried chrome polish and simple green, nothing seems to get the streaks off. Any suggestions?

First step - hit them with a degreaser. Something like dawn would be ok.
Second step - chemiucal polish. I would use Klasse AIO or Werkstatt Prime. If you need some of this just for this purpose, drop me a line and I will send you enough to do the wheels.
If this does not help, you will need a stronger polish. The Meguiars Pro metal polish is good. Do not use too much pressure though. I would only go to this after steps 1 and 2 fail.

When done, I would put a sealant on the wheels to prevent this from happening again. If it helps at all, that looks like it will come off 100% with little trouble.

Thanks for the tips, I'll try to find the Klasse and Werkstatt polishes today.

I know the typical reaction is "what a bitch!", but she took care of my G for a whole year while I was in afghanistan- getting the oil changed, getting it washed, picking up my new wheels and getting them put on for me. I cant get mad at her, she was just trying to help and didnt know.

Klasse can be found at Autogeek.net as well as some others.
Prime can be found at http://www.jeffswerkstatt.com/

If you think it would be quicker, I am more than happy to send you some of either to help out.

Use a spray bottle(with water) and a clay bar. Clay Bar's work wonders.

something like that you need a solvent like acetone (nail polish remover) or Mr. clean's magic eraser. The work wonders and might even be too effective. So carefully try it in a smaller spot then go with the rest.
