20" Falken Status black n silver

Bought this car about a month ago. Due to some vibrations coming from my 17" tires, I figured what a better time to upgrade to larger and nicer wheels??

These pics taken this past Thursday at the tire store. The tires they ordered (Falken ZR 225/30/20) are waaaay to small for this car. So Monday the 245/35/20's should come in and then go on the car. Looking at some Tein H techs to drop her a bit.

What ya think?

Why does no one like these wheels? I think they'll look better with the right sized tires. Goes well with the dark windows and chrome trim already on the car in my opinion...

Larger tire and larger rim. As for the rim choice, not feelin it. Part of it is the combo with your paint. It just doesn't go with that red. The rims themselves just look like they are on the wrong car entirely. Maybe a less busy rim or .... no. That rim has just got to go. Changing its color wont help.

Mind you, you asked for opinions. Most important is that you like it. Either way, I hope you enjoy them.

Well thanks for bein honest guys...appreciate the feedback.

If I still don't like the way it looks even with the larger tires then I can send the rims back and order something else. I just didn't want an all silver wheel, that's why I went with a black/silver combo. I still like these rims though....what's off about the colors of it all? Really only 3 colors in the whole getup..black, silver, and red?

Maybe its your camera. The black on the rims looks like they tried for gloss but it appears faded. The more that I look at it, the more I think they simply look to busy.

The springs will help as they'll reduce the gap between wheel and fender but I'm just thinking a different rim would/could be better. Its possible a polished version would look better. ANyways, thats just what I'm thinking.

Dayum everybody is HATIN these wheels! Wow...my wife and I both picked these as our favorites. Guess we have bad taste in rims.

No offense taken, again I appreciate the feedback. Tomorrow when they mount them with the correct tires maybe they'll look better. And lowering the car is gonna be a necessity...even tho my wife says no. But I've found it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission ; )

I just don't get it? Maybe it is the camera I used (ATT Tilt 3mp) that's throwing off the perception of these. I'll have to make a decision tomorrow. There's a guy in ATL selling 19" G37 wheels/tires...that's my plan B at the moment.

Take those wheels instead of these. They may be 1" smaller but there > 10+ nicer.

P.S. Do you do off roading with this car? =)

Get the G37 wheels! They will look much better and everyone here will like them lol But seriously dont bother wasting time with bigger tires, get the 37 wheels and you'll be ridin HOT. Also a drop is a must, tell your wife it will make the car safer by lowering the center of gravity
