Thumbs up 19" Privat "Gassen" on DG Sedan

OK gang, I finaly got some pix of my new wheels. Don't think I have seen these on any sedan yet.

They are made by KONIG and are called the Privat line "Konig's Premier wheel line". Yeah right, these things are cheap! I got them from Discount tire. I found them on ebay for $629 shipped to me, so I printed out the listing and took it to Discount Tire and they guy gave them to me for $600! They are 19" by 8" with a 40 offset. I put a set of Goodyear Eagle GT's in 245 40 19 also from Discount. The whole ticket came to $1800 and change. That included mounting (removing TPS and installing in new wheels), ballance, new lugs (locking lugs w/key), road hazzard, and Taxes. The offset came out perfect, so far it's close, but I didn't have to roll the back fender. I was running M-45 sport wheels and I had to run a 5mm spacer up front. Discount wouldn't even put them back on and I really didn't need them.

So, whadayathink?

I'm dropped on 350Z springs.

I think the new wheels and tires look great. The color of the wheels really complements the color of your G. Also, the wheel offset seems to create the perfect flush look from the sides. I've always like five double-spoke wheels. It also seems like you raised the rear a little; I seem to remember the rear tires under the wheel. I think this look is better; even gap between tires and fender on both front and rear. I really like it. Clean, aggressive look.
Can't wait to see them in person in January at you-know-what.

I've made some changes to my car, too. You'll have to wait until January to see them.

That's because you have never seen my car without a trunk full of luggage and tools!

looks good, the center caps look out of place. Paint the. caps the same color and it'll look much better

Well, you can move some of that weight to the Courtesy Vehicle then!

I actually like the contrasting color with the center cap and lip. I also just noticed that the wheels have a deep lip so they have a deep-dish appearance. All-around great-looking wheels with low-profile tires.

Is it just me or do I see a CB radio antennae on the trunk?

No, it's an Amateur Radio (Ham) antenna. I have a 144/440 MHz radio in the car. I also use it on FRS/GMRS frequencies during road rallies. Most FRS/GMRS "handhelds" have between 0.5 and 1 watt of power. This radio gives me 35 watts and a MUCH better antenna.
