Followup to the Inven bumper

Not sure how many ppl out there are still ordering from Eric, but sad to say that the bumper I purchased was not a good fit at all....it took them a lot of work and repainting to get it as close as possible...but still ended up being short on the sides (the edge of the bumper comes short from the edge of the fender edge) if that makes sense. It would have taken the shop to cut it in half and and refab some of it to get it to fit...love the look but dissapointed with the fit (not to mention that the shop I used never charged me extra for all the work and repainting the had to do). So Eric bumpers are hit/miss I'm guessing...but props to XtremeCollision for doing their possible best w/o ripping me off.

always sad to hear about bad experiences with vendors... and even more sad when it's a repeat of the same vendor...

definitely off my list should I ever consider changing the body up

from my experience w/aftermarket kits you'll always have fitment issues. this is where the body shop's experience comes into play. sounds like your bumper was foked from the start JD. i hope mine isnt that bad since they are from the same molds, even though mine is a different model. we'll see mang

Well, I'm hoping you have better luck..the guy that I got the bumper from had gotten his from Eric too and I think his had a good fitment...so best of luck.. even w/ my uneven edges I definitely like the new look.

perhaps they could wiggle the front fenders around a little to help with the gap. moving body panels around is more of an art form than anything
