can't Grubbs do it all for you?

 

Look in the lighting section. It's plug and play but you would need to buy all new bulbs......your color choice of course

 

I did find one post but I still haven't heard if there were any problems. Grubbs will do the work but the service tech found a few differences between the 06 and earlier models. We thought it best before starting to see if anyone else had success.

 

To the best of my knowldge and reading all these lighting posts....no problems. The only thing I heard of is that the passenger side wiring harness has to be extended. It's tied down to the frame and you have to cut the tie not the harness to extend it. Read in the lighting section for more info and pics

 

i have a 04 and i got the 06 headlights and installed it myself and i had no problems, you just plug the 06 headlights in and your done.

 

dont forget to get proper bulbs for the projectors

 

What about functions on the light stick? When you turn on the fogs do they come on? Any issues with high beams?

I know that the wiring harness is slightly different on the 06. This did not cause any issues? Thanks for your help.

 

No, no problems at all. I have them too on my '04 and they are strictly plug and play. You just have to buy the proper bulbs. And yes, the fogs and high beams come on when you turn them on.

I bought it from an Infiniti dealer from g35frenzy.com. I believe it's $665 now that Infiniti raised thier prices. I'm pretty sure of the price b/c when I bought my set it was $565 right before the price raise and I remember telling myself that i saved $100.
