Hello everyone, I've posted in the "new member thread" but wanted to get closer to my area. I am in the Dallas area and purchased my car about 3 weeks ago. It is an 03 6mt silver on black and loving the car. I ordered my iforged wheels this past weekend and hopefully should get here in about 5 weeks or so. Kenneth from The ModCity (Automotivemods) was very helpfull and hopefully everything will come out ok. Most of the time I search before I post but would rather get some opinions from my fellow DFW guys. Looking to purchase an exhaust (maybe HKS?) and lowering the car. What coilovers do you prefer and who would have reasonable prices on install (and great work ofcourse). Sorry no pics yet! Well hope to meet some cool people on here and hopefully some meets.

there's another thread about suspension here that you may want to check out. basically get what suits your needs.
if you're lookin to go cheaper, just get springs. there are a ton that you can have. check out the suspension forum, there is a sticky with all the drop heights and spring rates.

 

Welcome. If you are looking for coilovers search the forums marketplace you may be able to find a good deal there as well. Teins are good for the money and should'nt cost you no more than 150.00 to get installed. Also look into a camber/toe correctional kit after lowering your G so your tires dont wear as quick.

welcome....i've got a G on iforged wheels too! As far as exhaust and lowering the car it really depends on your budget and what look you want to go for.

Thanks for the welcome guys, from the looks of it Tein Flex is the way to go for our cars. Is the drop adjustable and how? Where is the best place to purchase or and install? Sorry i'm a noob!

yes the tien flex are adjustable and also order the EDFC with it so you can adjust the ride stiffness from inside the car. Exhaust...i have the Injen TT track edition exhaust. It sounds great!

Welcome bmoon. I have TEIN Flex and yes they are adjustable in both ride height and damping. The EDFC controller allows you to control the damping force from inside the car as stated by g35man04.

Here is a shot of the fronts with the wheel off so you see how they are adjusted (with the appropriate tools provided with the springs):

 

hey man is that the gialla grille from ionic? I just put mine on....how does it look? i see that i have a gap in the pics...

 

^mine is a UTR grill, looks almost exactly the same other than some fitment issues. I need some new mesh on mine which I will be getting from customautomesh.com where you see a pic of what looks like a G in your same color: http://www.customautomesh.com/store/...d&productId=12

I have ultimately decided to leave mine flat black to match the the lower air dams. I still want to add the floating Infiniti symbol like you have though. Looks good!

+1 on the Teins. Some people think the Flex is a bit too harsh for normal driving. It all depends on what you want. I have the CS with EDFC; not as good for the track but still work great with some good sway bars and a lot easier for daily driving which is where my car is 99.9% of the time.

Ooh! I've been trying to figure out which grill to get. I love the black of course and I want the floating infiniti logo... however, i'm going to do a black chrome floating logo... more sleek imo
