Yeah, I've heard that too...however i dont plan on tracking the car, or putting them under extreme conditions to cause that.

Mod Plan...

So here is the plan for the G within the next couple of weeks:

-New rotors all around
-New pads all around
-Brake fluid change
-Purchase and install Unrevised 350z springs (anyone have some sitting around? I have a guy in Florida ready to ship, but wanted to check local first)
-Four Wheel Alignment

Future:
-Wheels (I like the 18 inch coupe wheels, but need to find them at a decent price)

Hopefully the sun will be out long enough to get all this done!

Debadging and other Cosmetic Mods

I'd like to debadge my sedan, take off the "I N F I N I T Y" and the "G35" leaving the fuji emblem...Also like to take off the crappy "SEWELL" letters that look like faded dog ****....

At 33K miles, could it be time for new brake pads up front...My braking performance seems to be good but it just started squealing a little? Maybe check those out and replace if need be....

And lastly, maybe switch out the lights behind the clock...Figured be preventive here and put in some LED's, stick with orange...

I know, I know, all minor, but I'd definately appreciate some knowledgable folks around for a little piece of mind...Also provides a little motivation to start the part ordering seeing everyone else's rides ...

don't have to push them hard for them to crack... destroyed mine pretty easily and never went and "road raced" my ride

Wow, really? What rotors were those? I had cross drilled brembo rotors on my 240sx, and I beat that thing like it was a red-haired stepson.. never had any kind of problems with it. But cross drilling nowadays is just for show.. brake pad materials aren't like they were back in the day, hence no real need for cross drilled rotors. I'll probably go with just slotted if I ever replace mine.

Ok, here are some pics of the JWT-tt install currently under way at GS Motorsports to get people motivated to set a date!

Driver side exhaust manifold on, awaiting the turbo

Passenger side exhaust manifold with turbo

Intercoolers, piping, and the driver side turbo

How cool would it be to have a lift in your garage at home!

I'm installing my JWT clutch and flywheel this weekend. I am doing it at a friends shop. Air tools and a lift ftw!!

Hope it all goes well this will be my first clutch install. I have a professional mechanic helping so we should have no problems. He said that we can get it done in about 2 hours!

yeah my shifts are very slow and somewhat miss or take a second to shift....

as of right now they are looking over the VB that was sent in and will let me know next week if they can use it or not....usually thought it ranges from 800-1000.

thats alows for a straight plug in play.
