Shop Review: J&M Paint & Body

J&M Paint & Body
2244 Larson Lane
Suite 107
Dallas, TX 75299

The shop is run by a good guy named Jose. He's done a few jobs for me in the past, and I've always had great results. I just picked up my car last night from getting my roof repainted. I had it painted black two years ago, and the original guy used too much hardener. This led to the paint cracking and flaking off pretty bad. I took it to Jose who stripped the paint down to metal and resprayed it to perfection. He also painted some valve covers and battery covers all for a very reasonable price.

He's done several full resprays for 16niss show cars, and all have come out immaculate. I've referred several other auto enthusiasts to get miscellaneous jobs done such as body kits, fender benders, fender rolling, and touch ups. He can do factory color, custom mixed colors, custom pearls, or any combination you can think of.

He's located right down the street from Lamborghini of Dallas (Royal/35). Give him a call at 214-392-2127. He may not always pick up, as he may be in the paint booth or something. So best bet is to call back 15-30 minutes later if you don't get an answer.

What happened B?

LOL! Those shots were freaking good.

Bunch of scratches on the passenger side bumper and a little dent of the panel above it.
I sat there staring at it, I couldn't believe what I had just done.

I think Jose charges anywhere from $300-$400.

Looks like I'll probably be calling him tomorrow. It seems the previous owner of my car had a cheap paint job done on the aftermarket oem style spoiler. The paint on it is all cracked and rubbing off. I actually took the spoiler off today....that damn doublesided tape is such a mess. I also 'accidentally' took off my mount fiji... oh well.

Pretty much all body shops won't give quotes without seeing the item to be painted. Just give him a call and schedule a time to swing by. You won't be disappointed.

i dropped off the grill to him today, he says he can prolly have it by tomorrow....shop seems shady, but he had a few G's sitting around, so hey....

he had a red G coupe with no front end being used as a table, he said somebody dropped it off to be worked on and never came back.
