How did you figure that out? I ran the CarFax on it, but I did not see that....

EDIT: Nevermind.... I saw that when I went back and looked at the report. Thanks for the heads up. I guess I need to pay more attention to the CarFax report.

I really think I would rather spend $10k more on a new G37 (it would be new, bigger engine, better brakes, etc.).

You know you want a G37 so you can still be part of the DFW G Owners Club

Si. All the parts went with the car. I mean all the parts....

My garage gained a lot of space by clearing everything out (coupe seat, stock exhaust, wheels, tires, stock suspension, stock brakes, engine cover, stock intake, etc.).

Find me a manual sedan and I am on it. There is not much out there. I talked to 2 dealers and no one could find one (or they were not interested in finding one).

I would seriously consider it, but I am not sure what Inifiniti is thinking. I mean I know where they are coming from (it's a down economy, they need to sell the 08's, etc.), but come on!!!! Everyone knows the sedan is coming out as a G37. Give it up, it's not a secret. They need to face it that some people would only go for the G37 (like me), and they are loosing sales. As I mentioned in a previous thread, their need to sell 08's (and not produce 09's) is costing them at least one customer....

Ok, off the soapbox, but I am a little bummed that I don't have the G37 sedan as an option....

Ok... a little update. Still no car. I can't really find a BMW 335i around here that I want. My bank is also screwing me around (which I am pissed about, but I'll spare everyone the details), so I have been looking around for a G37 sedan with more effort.

I was able to track down the guy that sold me my G35 at Sewell, and he has 4 G37 sedans that are manuals that he can get now. He is looking around for the color combination I am after, but he has a couple that are close. So, I may have a G37 soon if I can work something out.

I am actually kind of happy. I had given up hope after talking to a salesman at Grubbs. I guess I should have gone to my guy at Sewell in the first place. I was out at DFW Audi last week, and stopped by Grubbs. I am not 100% sure he looked, but he told me he highly doubted they could get any, and tried to sell me an automatic. I highly recommend Stanley Bullock at Sewell if anyone is looking for a new Infiniti.

I'll keep everyone posted. It may take me a week to get what I want. None of the cars are at Sewell, but if they sell one Infiniti will release it (it sounds like they have quite a few 09 G37's, but they are holding them at the port, or at various holding lots until more of the 08's sell off).

If I get new car I will have to work twice as hard and travel a lot more to pay for it.... And, I will be even more lazy then. No, maybe it will motivate me more.... We'll see.

Should be picking it up tomorrow. It's not bad luck, just want to free up cash flow and get a less expensive vehicle.

Ok, another update. I think I am going with the G37 sedan. I am going to Sewell tomorrow to close on it. The specs on the car:
2009 G37 Sedan 6MT w/ Sport package-- Liquid Platinum (silver) w/ graphite interior
Premium package, splash guards, and trunk mat

It took some time to get this worked out. I had a hard time getting a response from my salesman, so I was a little frustrated. I found out he was in a auto accident today, so I guess all is forgiven. I also had a dealer in Little Rock offer me a sweet deal on an 06 BMW M5 (26k miles, and loaded for $45k), but in the end it was not the most financially responsible move given the economy (not to mention I work for a company that is laying people off like crazy).

Anyway, I will keep everyone posted on how things work out tomorrow. I hope to have the car in the next week, but I won't have it in time to throw it on the dyno this weekend....
