so far everyone Ive spoken to says the "feeler" method works just as well. Im doing mine tomorrow so we will see if the Z sounds like a stuck pig..

If it squeals just tighten it up some more. You won't get it perfect the first time, it's just trial and error and you'll get the hang of it from there.

feeler method works... no squealing at all.. took me about 30 mins...super easy..

I've heard everybody say how easy this job is, I bought my belts today and went to change them but could not figure out how the tensioner works. I loosened the nut on the front but what bolt do I have to turn to loosen the tensioner? By the way I have an 05 sedan..

i checed local shop thet do for about $50 and mine has 50k on it but he says not yet to change. had some crack but no noise. very easy to change but maybe need belt tensoner so keep in mine.

I've changed many belts on many cars... feel works just fine... just make sure there's enough tension, but not too much. no need to go crazy

I keep hearing a squeal only in the morning when i start the car, wasnt doing this with old belts on. Do you think i need to thighten or loosen tensioner?
