Question Tony
Is the MD 1/2" Plenum Spacer the same install as the 5/16" version? |
I know my name aint tony, but the answer is yes. And there's no performance difference in the sizes. Its all theory, but not reality
|
I was just wanting to know, since there's alot of different theories and stories about the two.
Thanks BlueBOB! |
There was a guy I met with a boosted Z a while back at a DNE meet and he had bench flow tested each of the different sizes, including the one that is thicker in the front than in the back. He said, all created the exact same gain of about 10% additional airflow to the front section. And I'm VERY happy with my 5/16"
|
It's ok man.. I'm sure you've been told before, it's not the "size" that matters..
Sorry man.. was too easy.. LMAO |
^^^
Rofl Oh snap Bob :BOUNCE: I think I'm going to go with the 1/2" plenum spacer, too many people with 5/16". |
yeah.. and you don't wanna be caught w/ your hood up and a "little spacer"
HAAAAAAAAAAA.. Chris it's all love bro.. |
lol... I may have a little spacer, but it's definitely used appropriately and well... :D
