I had that same problem with my 1991 300zx. It cost me around $75 bucks or so to get if fixed and an extra $50 to have it towed.

Nope. I've got an 05 with the rev-up motor and the previous owner had the crankshaft and camshaft sensors replaced under warranty/recall at about 12,000 miles.

I'm sure once they revamped the motor in '07, it was no longer an issue, but I bet 06's were affected as well.

okay here is my issuse i started my car nothing unsual as i started driving i switched to triptronic. When i did that the D was still on the dash and i tried to swicth gears but nothing happend. Then i stopped at a gas station to check it out and i noticed my parking lights came on as i took the key out of the ignition. And they stay on with the swicth on the off position. Later on a drive my triptronic started working.....really weird. 30 Minutes later i started the car and the engine light was on. I drove the car to drop it off at friends house since it closer to the dealer to check it out on monday. Then i had to move the car for a little bit and my slip and vdc light is on..... and i cant move the car cause every time i start the engine it dies. do you guys have any ideas what it might be?

I will check the break fluid as soon as i get out of work. My Slip, VDC off and break light came on. My Service Engine Soon light has been on already LOL so i don't know if it threw out another code. Mine came on Thursday when i spun out driving on this Texas ice and it happened again today, just driving to work...
What could it be???????????

^ WOW!
Same thing is happened to my G today!
The "Slip" and "VDC Off" lights come on when I started the car. I turned the car on and off a few times, sometimes the lights come on, sometimes they dont. weird.
No problems driving though.

This is what I found...
https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-cou...-randomly.html

I think, start with checking brake fluid, brake pads, and battery.

Help

My check engine light, slip & VDC light kept coming on, then my car would shut off sometime @ a light or if I stopped. Found out it was the camshaft sensor, plz note I have a 4dr sdn 2003. Once i got that replaced everything was fine, I went to the dealer and it was $300 something. But not hard if you know someone who works on cars to replace, the part is like $60........wish u luck!

My car looked like a friking Christmas tree with half of my dash lights turned on!!!
I drove home last night and they never came back on so i have decided my car does not like the cold weather so its going to stay inside until it gets above 50 Degrees...

I know its been a while but it happend to me again the other day after some idiot decides to turn right out of a street when he sees me coming and had to use all my poor brembo breaks... all my lights turned on... Got home and checked the break fluid and its at the low mark. So im thinking that's it...???

Ok, so I put new brake pads and my brake fluid is at MAX, and the "ABS", "Slip" and "VDC Off" lights still come on when any of my wheels spin a little.
I hooked it up to a Cipher tool and its throwing C1108 code.
Any ideas?

I think the culprit was one of the speed sensors. It was a bit loose. So far so good. Will keep you guys updated.
