Visiting Texas/Cowboys Stadium, need help!

Hey guys, my girls bday is coming up and shes a die hard Cowboys fan (to top it off we live in DC..). For a present I wanted to take her to a Cowboys game (pref. Skins vs Boys, I know ticket prices will be jacked up). Had a few questions if any of you guys could help me out, it'd be great.

1) How far is Cowboys Stadium from Dallas, TX?
2) Is Arlington a nice place to stay? or would it be better to stay in Dallas and just go to Arlington for the game? (trying to make a weekend out of this)
3) Is there mass transit to the game? Metro/train anything? Dont really want to rent a car.
4) What are some good places to stay at in Dallas and Arlington (hotel wise)?
5) Trying to get tickets, so far searching on ticketsnow.com and stubhub.com any other sites I should know of?

Thanks for any and all help.

I just got back from the Cowboys Panthers game.... real good experience.

1. From downtown D, Arlington is like maybe 45min drive.
2. Arlington sucks! If I were you, I would stay somewhere in downtown or uptown Dallas.
If you on a budget and want to make a weekend of it, stay in Arlington and you can go to Six Flag over Texas and Hurricane Harbor (I think thats the name) and Ripleys Belive it or not... all of those places are very close to the Cowboys new stadium.
3. Not that I know of, I think some strip clubs have free shuttle service to/from Cowboys games, if you have a ticket stub.
5. ticketmaster.com

There's no mass transit here in Dallas. A lot of people take cabs or shuttles in. You cannot get around Dallas without a car really.
