Definitely get MW2 on PC...that way we can play online and shoot some noobs...

You are making me go get Dragon Age this weekend....d@mn the reviews look awesome! And congrats on that GTS card, i love it when someone gets a new card and experiences the game play over again. You'll see things in the game you never saw before with the upgrade, definitely worth the penny and now you have room to SLI that ****! MB upgrade!!!!!!

Man I tried to take back MW2 for xbox, but since I traded games in to get it, they were only gonna give me store credit.. I don't get it, they gave me the option to take cash (less per game) or purchasing the game w/ the credit (more per traded game) when I traded the games in.. But since I got the game, now they're saying I can only bring it back for credit..

So I'm stuck w/ the xbox version if anyone needs one.. Lemme know.. I'll let it go for 50. (10 bucks off).. I have it on PC.. Haven't played it yet cuz I can't bring myself to play anything other than Dragon Age. I can't multi-task in games.. I have tunnel vision.. LMAO!!!

Yeah man.. I'm in love w/ my PC all over again now man.. It's crazy..

I got to see the game w/ the 7600 GT (running at medium settings, because High dropped my FPS too low, was dragging a bit). I loved the gameplay and wanted to enjoy the game for EVERYTHING it was worth, so I decided to upgrade the video card.

MAN.... MONEY WELL SPENT!!!

In game play.. GTS 250 baby.. Bwahahahahahah.. That spider is my shape shifting mage.. LMAO!!! Sorry 56k.. I wanted you to see the detail in native resolution(playing on a 24").. Look at that water.. Gotta love the blood splatter.. And yes, the blood spray stays on you.. Once it's on, it's ON.. Your dog can lick it off of you if you have him in your party, and it will make him power up.. BWAAHAHAHAHAH!! I LOVE THIS GAME..

lmfao - tony, something about the shapeshifting spider just makes me laugh haha. i wish i had the time to get this game, but i know with everything else (and MW2) that i wouldn't be able to do it justice. i also remember being unimpressed with the trailers, but it looks like they weren't too accurate. looks like a sweet game man!

Man please.. the trailers were sick.. You playing single player on MW2 or multi? I heard they didn't have dedicated servers for certain platforms.. They get that fixed?

they don't have dedicated servers for the PC version (which i guess sucks for you). but PS3 is supposedly fine. i haven't played online multiplayer, but i have played online co-op (Spec Ops) with a buddy. it was totally seamless, no lag at all in any way. so far, the game is sick!

I dont' really care about the multi-player aspect of games anyway.. I normally get games for the storylines (thus my love for RPGs). Although they are fun, having to coordinate w/ folks w/ different schedules and all that is a chore..

haha i know exactly what you mean. i always got ragged on for liking the RPGs, but that is definitely where i started back when i was just a young lad (lol)...i remember playing Final Fantasy 1 on the NES - those were the days!

you can't beat a solid storyline these days. most of the games that come out now are unoriginal rehashes of the same exact formula with a very minor twist. this is especially true in the FPS genre. a lot of the games as of late have been somewhat half-baked in my opinion. the eye-candy might be nice, but without a good story it's just a nice looking picture and nothing more. [/ rant]

PREACH!!!!!

Gotta love the "critical kill" animations - once your player learns special abilities and when they fight certain characters, if they're in a special ability mode, they'll "finish him" It's GREAT.. I've never seen this in RPGs..

I used to be a HARDCORE PC gamer, mainly FPS games. I managed to keep myself away from the RPG's because they can just consume your life and I didn't want to lose my days!! I used to travel from Chicago to New York for an annual LAN party with a group of guys and went to a LAN party in Dallas when I was still living in Chicago (this was like 9 years ago). We would have frequent LAN parties locally too. This was really before everyone had high speed internet ... I remember my first cable modem had to be hooked up to the phone line for upload!

Then I started my own small business and any extra time that could potentially be used for game goes directly towards the business.

I still run a PC that is capable of running most games quite smoothly (C2Q 6600 w/8GB RAM). I've traditionally been an overclocker and always built my own PC's because I like to have control over the components that go into my build.

Nowadays the most gaming I do is playing texas hold-em on my blackberry

Don't waste your time with MW2 for PC, they don't have the dedicated and Infinity Ward came flat out and said its not on their list of things to do so its losing alot of its PC fanbase. Wish I didn't make the mistake of picking it up and can't take it back. Plus the campaign mode is only 3 hours long.

Aw man... You make me wanna host something right now.. I have FIOS.. 25dl/15ul.. You wouldn't have to travel anywhere.. I'm the same way.. I build my own rigs.. (C2Duo 6600, 2 Gigs RAM) I haven't overclocked yet. I'm still sitting at the default 2.4, but know I can easily get up to 3 but just changing the multiplier in the bios. It runs stable and I don't have any complaints.

Just took the xbox version back 2 days ago.. Matters not.. I really only get games for the single player mode for the most part. I haven't even played the first one.
