worth a shot, different kind of stimulous that leaves a nicely freaky aftertaste that will mess with you for days
Though I've played a handful of suspenseful games, I'm with Tony on this one. I don't like horror movies, so horror games are almost worse in my opinion. Just not my thing. Being freaked out isn't entertaining to me. Of course, personal preference, I definitely don't hate on those that do like em.

personally, I'm all about fps's and rpgs, but the suspenseful games throw a nice little curve to the gameplay when things are seeming to all run in together. Kind of like most fps's are headed the same direction with just slight tweaks on their physics and changes in weaponry. Rpg's have been tending to mirror eachother recently as well, :/
amen on the FPS's... they're slowly but surely converging to be the exact same game with 10 different titles... RPG's have been a little slower, but WoW really did create a new way of thinking of RPG's and changing that realm (no pun intended)

That's what I liked about Fallout 3 and Borderlands.. It was a perfect blend of both genres....

mass effect 2 is really good. combat is way better then in mass effect 1. but you have to download all the dlc cause i thought it was too short. or maybe i just thought it was too short cause i didnt want it to end.

That's exactly how I feel about the DA series.. 2 was HELLA short.. compared to 1, but it was a lead-in for 3... Plus, I don't think Bioware wants to go head to head w/ Elderscrolls Skyrim this year..

yea, ME2 isn't bad as all, graphics were a little grainy for me for w/e reason... (they have a filter to take that off, but the resolution wasn't what I expected) Gameplay did go a bit quick for me. By the time I had gotten all set up and ready for the real game to begin, it was over
and wasn't pleased with no trophy for exploring every planet... that was a pain...

I been starting to catch up on my games =). Well for me I play tekken 6 competitively but other than that I been playing COD: BO and dang this game is fun. I'm also going to play Little Big Planet 2 once I get time again. LBP 1 was so much fun. Who else plays LBP?
