Well...good news...bad news...

Bad news is...I won't be getting the car back for at least 2 more months.

Good news is...when the car comes back you will be even more amazed then you might have been from what you've heard and read about. Sorry, can't say more than that.

On a side note, Sam and I are discussing having a G/Z meet and greet where Sam will be down to meet with everyone and show off my car (as well as others). This is in very early planning stages but this will either be very very big, or just a typical meet and greet with a special bonus. More details to come...

Keep checking the G37 thread for how things are coming along...oh...and by the way...GTM VQ35HR supercharger is in the works! Stay tuned for further details on this one too...

Damn bro, I would swear that everytime you provided an update it was another 2-3 weeks and now it's at least another 2 months???

I hope he's throwing in some extra's for taking so long! I guess if your G is the test bed then it definitely would take much longer to do but that has to be torture to only be able to see your car in youtube videos!

Keep us updated, the meet sounds like it will be a great time (especially with May-June weather )

Yah sometimes things just don't go as fast as you would like...but in this case...Sam and I are doing something special with the car.

I definitely hope we can work something out and have a big GTM/stay-tuned-for-other-sponsorships meet and greet.

That sounds sweet I would be down for a meet like that also know all about delays and what not, I can't imagine with all that custom stuff the amount of time it would take good luck and thanks for the updates.

If you haven't been on the G37 forums in a while, here's some updates on the progress of the kit.

http://myg37.com/forums/engine-drive...elease-19.html

The video and dyno is the 370Z but you get the idea of what changes have been made to the kit.

So it's been 2 months since you said "Bad news is...I won't be getting the car back for at least 2 more months."

What's the latest now??

The truth is that Sam has been swamped with a lot of stuff, making a TT install DVD video, some issues with Forged Performance, as well as getting the Stage 1 kits ready for production/shipping. Sam and I keep in touch and last I've heard it will most likely be the end of June the car will be finished.

I'm in absolutely no hurry for him to slap this together and ship it back so, he can take all the time he needs to make sure it's done right. This isn't just about putting an SC kit on my car, it's about getting the kit right for production/each and every person that buys this kit.

I've also had several sponsors come on board in recent months and he has to get some other stuff installed on the car as well for me so that's taking up some time as well.

Believe me I wish I could say the car is back home but it's not. I'll be able to discuss more about my car here shortly but for now it's still at GTM and it's being worked on now. It has been 9 months now, but when the car is finished it will be well worth it.

It may be a little longer than I'm anticipating now as well because I found out this past week one of my sponsors may want to use my car for their SEMA booth. Again, just another issue I'll know more about in the next 2-3 weeks. If they do decide to use it, the car will probably stay out at GTM until November.

We'll see how things pan out.

Once the car is back this forum will be one of the first to know when its coming and when the big party is.
