Got my HFCs installed........

Hey Guys,

I got my Kinetix HFCs installed and tuned at COBB last Friday.
Before the tune I had 235whp and 225wtq. After the HFC install and tune I had 236whp and 226wtq. A whole 1whp and 1wtq! It is louder and is faster by my butt dyno. I did just get new wheels and tires. Added weight? Anyway I've been driving around since then and Monday started to notice lots of booming and rumbling coming from my exhaust. Sounds like it is going to fall off or something! When sitting at a light last night the exhaust sounded calm and then it sounded like a chopper was sitting over my car! I put it in Neutral and it went away. What's up with that?!! Another thing I noticed is that when decelerating from about 70mph it starts to knock real bad until it gets down to about 65 - 60mph. I'm going to take my car to a muffler shop and have them put it on the lift and re-tighten the exhaust. It also rattles when sitting still or if I rev it a bit. I guess that might be the heat shield? Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks Guys!

I'd think you'd get more than just 1 whp and 1wtq.. that's defeating man.. I'm sorry.. Hope you figure it out, and it works out.. VicariousVision had issues as well man.. This is disheartening..

Peak hp and peak tq really shouldn't discourage you at all. It's the powerband difference that counts. He could have a 15hp/15tq gain from 3000-5500rpm, just have to overlay the graphs and look. That's where you will feel the powa.

I don't know which ones I have. Which ever ones that come directly from the Kinetix site. I'm at BWW already. I didn't want to wait up at work.

So do you have the dyno graphs to post Stone? If so I would like to see them to se if you are gaining in the mid range like Will suggested. So did they do a retune for the A/P as well or just put it on the dyno to see what it would do?

I know I have the latest one. I'll look for the other one. They did a re-tune. They better have done a re-tune. I'll check my tuner. I asked them to keep the previous tune just in case I didn't like the HFCs and wanted to put the stock ones back on. I'll try and find them after work. Thanks!

^Thanks for the offer J. I'm going to keep them no matter what I think. COBB quoted me $50-60 and it ended up costing $85. It took them TWO hours to install!!!!!
