getting new wheel bearings for my car, drop it off at the shop. There was some weird roaring sound coming from the front passenger wheel. Concluded that it's the bearings.

 

Was it like a whirring sound that got louder as you picked up speed? I got that coming from the rear...is there a way to figure out which side it would be? It's not like I can leave the car on cruise and jump in the trunk to see what side it's coming from...lol

 

Yeah thats it..mine would get really loud at like 80mph. My father's friend owns a car dealership, so I took it to him to get it done. I don't know if there's a way but it was really obvious for me to tell that it was coming from the passenger front.

 

most of the time if a wheel bearing is going out there is play in the bearing or it doesnt rotate smoothly. You just jack the car up and try to see if the bearing has play in it

 

Stephen, I just took it to my dad's friend's shop and he's taking care of it. I also have extended warranty but i didn't bother with taking it to infiniti.

Anyways...pick these bad boys up just right now.

you can 'swerve' your car to load one side, if you swerve left it loads the right side and vice versa, if it's louder swerving left then it's a right side bearing. watch for traffic!

 

Going to do all that after your done with my car . It will complete the look.

 

I need to replace mine on my car to...I have loud humming noises coming from my when I get to higher speeds.

ohh yeah I also ordered some more parts today!!!! ARC Airbox and intake pipe which will be available for sale since I had to buy both parts. I only wanted the Airbox
