damn chris, do you know if the stock VB you got was good??

also I read something awhile back about having to get the ECU/TCM flashed to recognize a different VB, could this be the issue?

The guy I picked the transmission up from pulled it from his Z that was running but he had spun a bearing inside his block so the block was toast and the trann was what he had left.

I am going to attempt the reset tonight and see if that does anything.

i know the TCM cannot be reset but the ECU can. I spoke to Level 10 earlier on the phone and they mentioned to me that it sounded like I was having computer problems and not VB problems...he couldnt explain the hard shifting and hesitation when down shifting on the VB but is going to research the number I gave him from the side of the level 10 and let me know what it was built with...components wise. he said if it was built for Forced Induction and you are now back to stock that will cause shifting problems just because the pressure isnt there anymore.

I will be driving to burleson tomorrow..not sure when to pick up a Transmission control module. If that doesnt fix the current problem then the VB i purchased is bad or isnt compatible with my car.....so damn frustrating.

From what I gathered it looks like its a bad tranny...

If so it would be a great time to do a 6 speed conversion!
