oops....i meant to say the nitto nt555s are 750, not the falken's. my bad...
but also check out hankook v12s i like them....theyre pretty good for the price.

edit.
When i was researching to get tires i read some reviews about the side wall bubbling on the nt555s. my brother had a set a while back an 2 of his tires started "bubble" inside. I would definitely go with another brand

I'm not sure how a 245/40 would look...has anyone run a 245/40 on a 9.5 wheel? I know the sidewall will obviously be bigger, but is it really big? I wouldn't mind having a larger sidewall for peace of mind, but is it huge?

Yea, I currently have a 245/35 right now. The ride isn't quite what I want, but I think it's more a product of the tire that I am currently running.

I just want to be able to take harder turns and curves without having to get nervous. I know I'm not stretched to the max or crazy hellaflush, but I do still have a mild stretch and it makes me nervous at times in my daily driving.

there's guys that are running 215/35s on 9.5s and daily drive them. I wouldn't worry even in the slightes about a 245/35. And if you can remember, take a look at an OEM 19x8. They have 225/40 on there and even have a little stretch.

245/35 is completely fine.

problem with not running tires that are close to the same outer diameter as OEM is that the speedo will be off and may cause ABS issues

+1 on johnny's comment...

I ran 245/35 on my fronts and they were perfect. I am ALL ABOUT turning aggressively and that size setup 245/35 and 275/35 worked quite perfectly. Believe me, I was very aggressive in my daily driving .

I had the Dunlop Sport Maxx tires. Though probably not the most popular, I was surprisingly happy with them. BeerViper runs those as well (at least he did when I got them) and loved them as well. They are great in dry weather and still handle the wet weather very well.

And I have an actual hookup at discount tire. I actually have two. One is a store manager, the other is an assistant manager. Let me know and I can get you in touch with either one or both.
