[DFW] What have you done to your G Today?
I know many of you fellas aren't necessarily the type to wrench on your own ride, but this one is pretty damn easy. In case you wanted to learn. Not to c-block Mr. Chris, but I'm big about doing all my own work personally
yea i'm sure its something i can do, i don't lack the ability to think technically but i'd rather not miss any details..."IE not to over tighten anything" lol
Installing the spacer is a simple procedure with step-by-step directions.
I've done all the wrench turning on my car thus far.
It's the first car I've modded and nothing has happened so far
My maxima went to a technician once, but he was a good friend that worked at a Nissan dealership and he was changing out my timing chain, guides, water pump, etc. He also wrote a sweet love note on my oil filter before he gave it back. It said "F*cker"
The G got oil changes at the dealerships, but that was more of a CYA because of the oil consumption issues.
The Titan has been touched a few times, but only for recall work. It will get touched a few more times in the near future for warranty work.

None of the smiley characters are working for me lol but my intention was to input a sarcastic congrats lol
Doing your own work is where its at.. Its so much more rewarding to turn your own wrench.
I have done everything on my car so far.. Clutch and flywheel was the biggest job.

The benefits of DIY are obvious, what man doesn't like the self satisfaction? No need to out stretch the topic talk about something else lol. This is strictly a torque wrench and power tool decision made by the lacking of both in my direction. Go wash your cars
Didn't mean to make it sound like you suck for not doing it yourself ha
Perfectly legitimate reason because without a torque wrench things could go bad. I've read of dudes cracking their plenum and snapping bolts doing it without a torque wrench
Ditto, not meant to be insulting. Though I will say a torque wrench is very nice, as long as you don't go crazy with tightening, you don't really NEED a torque wrench. I sure as hell didn't use one when I did my install.
