There's no elitist attitude from the majority of us "fitment" people. But when they advertise and flood the market with bold claims of being a great wheel, it gets annoying. The wheels weigh a ton, aren't particularly the greatest looking wheels, and with a 2600 or so dollar price tag, I think they're not worth the money spent.

And other than Tian, all the Vossen fanboys, primarily G37 owners, swing off Vossens nuts like they're the holy grail and are quick to flame anyone who disagrees with them.

There have been many times at meets here locally in socal where the Vossen "elitists" were the ones talking trash.

AND...Vossen has a user id here on the forum, advertises, yet doesn't pay vendor/sponsor fees...and they aren't banned.

Gimme a break...

I'm mehish on the issue. They look good but I would never get them for my car. Not all of them look bad, the ones that Tian has look pretty good IMO

Not trying to bring the argument over here, just stating what I've observed and read for 5+ pages til I got tired of it.

I agree with the vendor/sponsor issue. With a large company like that, I wonder why they don't pony up the money to become one.

I'm just sick of people talking trash on "fitment elitists" because opinions are voiced.

It goes both ways.

Some aren't afraid to voice their opinion thoroughly and that's where the debate starts. Like others have said, they might get a little more respect on here if they became a vendor/sponsor instead of having everybody fight their battles for them.
