No ones being butt hurt don't be sensitive...just a great opportunity to pick fun lol not sure why you weren't expecting that with those plates and your setup.

^ 2 years ago when I had custom license plate, it use to cost about $40 extra every year for vehicle registration in TX, thats it, not $400.

Disclaimer: This is just a statement about registration fees in TX, im not making a comment about the guys license plate.

Now you have to buy the plates from a 3rd party for about $400 per year depending on the design.

So now that my G is hanging out at Stephen's shop and I am having him change out my spark plugs, I am reminded of the wonderful oil that leaks into the spark plug tubes from the valve covers. I figure I will have him go ahead and take care of the problem using the R&D Factory solution (the easy one where it's just a direct swap and they drill out the old seal).

Still not sure why my SES light is on though ... c'mon Stephen work your magic!

^ride looks good, don't think i had seen it before...i've heard the modified seals aren't working and was prepared to spend the 300-something phil@grubbs quoted for new replacements. Hope they work for ya

I'm probably the last person to figure this out, but today I learned that by holding down the unlock button on the key fob you can roll down your windows. It blew my mind!

Forgot I have those old old pics of my car in my sig, I took those pics over 5 years ago just after I got the car and it looks very different now (Strafe trunk, impul sides, K2 front, wheels repainted). I haven't been around much lately just working on my real estate business but I am still autocrossing once a month with the "VQ crew". Finally picked up a set of track wheels and some new Hankook Ventus RS-3's for some grip. I haven't been to a meet in a looooooooong time, then again most of the meets are always in N. Dallas and I don't get out of Keller too much unless I'm out looking at a house to buy.

Are you talking about brand new OEM valve cover replacements for 300-ish? I hadn't heard that they ever fixed the issue with the OEM covers but I could be way behind the times. Maybe I need to do a little more research still!

lol... yes... Nissan has done it in many of their cars since 99. A few models got skipped, but most have it. The sedan will do all 4 windows. And if you stick your key in the keyhole on the driver's side and hold it in the lock position, the windows will roll up until you let go of the key.
