Sell the Element, use the cash as a down payment along with the trade-in on the G, get a newer car, save $ for the project.

That's probably the most economically and financially wise thing to do.

Take the $450 that you get from your job to pay the car note on the new car and save a few hundred bucks a paycheck towards your toy.

OR

Have the new car be the new toy and save a couple grand for to buy the DD.

If it were me id sell the element. Use that money put it on a newer hyndai or something like that. Most of those are pretty reliable and can b used as a dd. Pretty much just switch out the honda for another newer paid off vehicle and keep the g. Id be interested in the s/c also

nah, dont do that. keep your boofted G and sell your element and get another new-ish 4 door dd which your company will make payments on. it will come handy for the baby mama and the baby!

 

yash, you're forgetting the important part. i will most likely boost whatever i get.

so i've DEF narrowed it down to what i wanna do. For now, i am going to get rid of both my cars, first the g, to get that payment outta my hair. I will be starting a part out this week, so scanvegers welcome.

I am going to look at the 3 following cars:
1. used 08 g37S 6mt >30k on it
2. used 09 370z 6mt >10k on it
3. 08-09 STI hatch >35k on it

All these can be had for under 30k, which is where i want to stay. I will be test driving all these over the next 3-4 days. I understand the g37 will be a sweeeet interior vs all the others, and since i already have a g, it will be hard to give up luxury that the other two dont have.

As soon as the G is sold to whoever/wherever, I will sell the Element (which should be easy to sell) and use that to put down on one of these cars.

Soon after, whatever i buy will get upgraded (boost for the nissans, turbo upgrades for the sti) haha

 

 

hah thanks will, you're a genius; The only thing is, I will eventually need to buy another DD soon, cause this thing will hit the mod bug, and me needing a car i can put 2k/month minimum on for work, I will have to buy something else. and not a beater, i have an image to keep in front of customers.
