Fender Mishap
So I was backing out of the garage the other day and scraped my RH Fender. It's not really that bad (see pics) but I took it to a place in Bedford that works on lots of Nissan/Infinity cars and they quoted me waaaay too much to repair it.
I've dug around and there is an Ebay seller with good reviews that will send me a brand new fender painted according to my VIN and paint code and supposedly adjust for time/fading and I just put it on myself and it's under $400 all done.
I'm not too concerned with the front bumper. I can take care of that good enough because I plan on replacing it some day anyway.
I'm looking for any advice... local people (northish DFW ideally) that would do a fine job for cash, any opinion on the ebay/new painted fender route, whatever. I do not want to make an insurance claim for such a small deal.
Suggestions?
TIA,
Shawn

Im sure r1forever can do it for you, the people who did my bodywork can as well sheermetal.com
I think its like 170 or so for the fender and then probably a 3 hour quote for the labor/materials

Yes i can do insurance work. He also metioned that he would rather not make a claim. I can actually repair the fender. No need to replace. If you replace you will need to blend the hood and left door, which will cost alot more. You dont want to replace that panel as it will never match imo. Its a metallic and if not sprayed in same enviroment or every the same pattern the metallics will lay down different and the color will look off. Even the different clears play a part.
