who will win in the race?

lol I've researched this topic for a very long time and I've got some very bias opinions from both sides. Never actually raced against an IS350 but a friend of mine with one challenged me to go to the track this month for a quarter mile run. I'm really interested in knowing too, maybe someone has clashed against one before?

 

350 will win if stock vs stock. i tried and tired and tired. yea....

 

in order to run with is350, u will need to do gears on your g35,
because Is350s are geared for quick offline acceleration.
Do hwy runs =X g35 will pull on it after 80-100mph.

Only way to run with Is350 from dig is AWD. and powerbrake.

 

=[ I dont want to lose. I have an 04 coupe with CAI, plenum spacer and test pipes and some other minor breathing mods. Not sure if thats enough, i dont think so.

 

get your car tuned. U wont lose.
Get Osiris tune. with those mods your car definetly needs some tuning...
Osiris dyno tune can release good 10-20whp for u, if its dyno tuned by the right guy.

Again i said whp, not crank...

 

add an exhaust and a tune and you will be right there.

but the 350 are so quick though. they can run like high 13s all day long with ease. =[

 

I've gone against my friend's IS350 with full exhaust. Let's just say, your car better be running a 1/4 time of 13.5 secs or faster, otherwise you don't have a chance at all.

I tried to race one of these in plano a while back.... didnt turn out so well :/
those things are friggin fast.

 

The should be fast for as much as Toyota wants for them. Just add the s/c and you would smoke him and you would have still spent less money for your car. j/k
