New to the DFW area
Thanks, I'll keep everyone in mind whenever I have future installs. And I'll be sure to make it to as many meets as I can, thanks ezpotato. And good to hear a lot of members are somehow affiliated with UNT.
Haha I love how everybody in this club has a sense of humor, some guys in other parts of driver aren't as comical. Things get too serious sometimes lol.

welcome bro.. look forward to meeting you.. sounds like you're off to a good start already.. Next mod that doesn't cost too much and is best bang for the buck would be a plenum spacer if you were looking for an idea.. most folks go w/ motordyne 5/16th..
Thanks twalls, that was actually gonna bey next mod. Question as to what type of plenum spacer would be best, whether I should get a basic, copper, or isothermal? My sister told me it snowed last winter, so I'm not sure what to get since it has never snowed where I used to live in Florida.
You dont have to worry about isothermal, I do have the copper Tb heater somewhere if youre looking to buy. Im not sure how soon I am going to buy the kinetix, but if you can wait I will have mine for sale sometime this year.
I don't think the isothermal's necessary either.. It's for places that have real winters (east coast) not scattered flurries like we might have here.. You car will be just fine w/ the regular honestly, I have the regular 1/2" spacer.. And I used to DD my car (even when we had the snow last year).. You'll be just fine.
Jackus, sorry but I'm unclear on what the copper tb heater is, and I'm not in a hurry to purchase anything right away atm, I just spent a ton of money on tuition and books.
And thanks guys, I'll prob just the basic 5/16 from motordyne.
and prob the next year or so, I'll be an asian going to UNT, but being a country boy from Florida and growing up on a farm, you could almost call me white haha

In colder places the throttle body is prone to stick from freezing. The copper throttle body heater runs from coolant from the motor and runs it through so it can help keep it warm. There is a valve you have to turn off during warm times, and open up during cold days.
I have a 5/16 md spacer that I will get rid of when I go to the kinetix.

Oh gotcha, so would it be beneficial having it here in Texas? I'd prob get it if I needed to.
And let me know when want to get rid of the 5/16, I'll deff be interested, would you include all the bolts and whatnot for it?
