alright man no one is saying your car is crap, just saying, i know there's thinking out of the box, but there's also a certain scene for what you're doing, just like we have stance, performance, track, etc. I just dont think what you're going for fits into the general mold of the g35 environment. But if you like it, continue with it, and dont expect much positive feedback with wheels like that in this scene. now when it comes to other upgrades, theres TONS of support out there and lots of people that can help you out.

hell, i have 18s, and most people frown on that.

But i seriously would at least THINK about losing those wheels man, no way around it. there's better options out there that fit a little better as well. even if you're going for that look, you should play it clean.

fyi the DFW G Club is one of the most active forums you'll find.

we have more local meets than any other section on here so your statement is pretty false. P.S. try checking the "Events" section.

haters will hate for sure, don't let it get to you, if you like it then thats all that matters. Most of us are all pretty good guys we just like to talk sht when we don't agree with something. nothing wrong with that, don't get all butt hurt.

and if you want to start performance mods, go for the regular path most people take:

Intake, exhaust, headers, etc.

Hey i had chrome 20s at one point. Id still rock em but i went a whole different look on my Car. If you like the wheels rock em. You could try pulling off a VIP car with those. Oh dont forget on you first post OP, you said all comments are welcome. FYI: I went from this to this

I think a VIP sedan would fit you well. No offense it doesnt seem like you want the performance side of the G. Putting heavy chrome full faced rims on a G is like turning it into a dodge charger. It sounds like it wants to go and then step on the pedal and goes nowhere fast. You need to set the car up for what you are going to do with it. Like someone said if your looking for the vip type coupe drop it and throw some agressive offsets on there with a 20" rim.

Big D...welcome to the forum....hopefully we all didn't get off on the wrong foot....we're all sht talkers here but everyone is hella cool here....trust me, I get sht from these fools at ALMOST every meet because I chose a different direction w/ my wheels as well....but it's all in good terms...

Hell...another car forum that's truly full of dbags actually took it upon themselves to make an entire thread to talk sht bout my wheels and me....but hey, 90% of them can't even afford a G...so just makes me feel sorry for them...

Oh yeah, also apologizing for some of the homo pics these guys will post....(no homo).....
