Anyways, still have the SES light from the tune last summer and it's about time for an inspection....

Can't steve kan turn off any of the dummy lights via uprev tune. If not "LOCO" is the man to hit up in the inspection department

 

Yeah I know he can do that, and I think he did. I don't know how many people know this, but when he tuned my FX he used a different ROM thinking it would work. Well everything works fine and all, except my cruise control. I have the laser cruise and I guess the ROM he used was for a normal CC FX, so now the ECU throws a U1001 (among others) code because it's the "wrong" ECU.

It's been hard to track down either another FX with this same ECU ROM or even find one for sale used.

I will check with Loco though, so thanks to both of you guys for suggesting that.

Sent him a PM so that should be good, but thanks. My inspection expires this month, but it doesn't really matter since my windshield was replaced and I only have the registration sticker. Also noticed I need new front tires so they probably would have failed me there anyway. That inner camber wear caught me out of nowhere. Need to remember to rotate side to side more often.

 

Well I haven't heard back from him yet and it's almost July, so maybe if you could let him know I PM'ed him? He hasn't been online for a couple weeks.

Went to lewisville gun show today and sold off a CMMG free float full rail upper and got hard cash back. Only lost $100 after having it for 3 years and turned around and picked up a XD-M compact 9mm for the wifey.
