I used to live in Saudi Arabia (dad was in the US Army, we were stationed there) and grew up with many international people, I lived there from when i was born to 14.. made tons of friends and one of my friends was an australian chick who just went back to saudi arabia after 15 years and took some shots. She sent me these... it's strange how much it has changed. It was nice before but now it seems ridiculous. too bad I would NEVER go back, just cause of their lifestyle, but it seems like it woulda been cool to visit again.

haha riyadh, the capital city i lived in, is one of the most advanced cities in the world. the architecture is absolutely stunning, and this was back like in 98 when i moved finally. i cant imagine how nice it is now....

just the lifestyle is very strict, and very different. they have so much money there.

 

that pictuer up there in what looks like a factory is a date factory... much better conditions than our factories huh? haha

I actually have a friend that lives there and goes to school here in the states(military fam). Played little league a few years back with the team that went to the Little League World Series for Saudi Arabia and always dyes their hair blonde lol.

 

Nice pics! I wanna visit that part of the world one day and see how it is. That and Dubai.

 

yeah stay away from saudi, just go to Bahrain and Dubai. you'll be satisfied. just dont go between may-sept.
