Sold my car today!

Well i parted out my g35 and it sold today, only had it listed for a week. The guy flew up from San Antonio and I met him at the airport. He was already talking about doing an exhaust and bc racing coils lol. I'm gonna miss it but I'm looking at 04-07 CTS-Vs.

previous..

parted..

congrats how much did you sell it for....also look at 07 cts-v since it has the better diff. Also try to find someone who can take you to an auction and you can look at Pontiac G8 GT or GXP.

^I got 13.5 cash for it, bought it for 14000 and put 15k miles on it so I'm pretty happy. My brother has an 09 G8 Gt.. but yeah the V I'm looking at right now is an 2005 but had the 07 diff put in under warranty. Negotiating on the price with the guy but i'm still looking around, not too many for sale. Fez let me know if you come across anything I know you're always looking around.

That's awesome Lol, I'd be happy with either of the cts v's ..considering that move myself. I'll definitely have to check it out if you pick one up

Both of the links are for the same car...I would lowball the shizz out of him and see what he comes back at. Take it to a competent mechanic who knows what to look for on the LS series motor, along with CTS body. Read up on the forums about other known issues to look out for. The carfax is included but I would run an autocheck as well just to be sure and have a paint and body guy look at it for any indicators of work done on vehicle. Check the pads, rotors, belts, tires, bushings, and fluid. Use all your knowledge about the vehicle to negotiate the final price. Keep in mind the maintenance you will need coming up with mileage and factor that into your budget to freshen the vehicle up. Good choice and hopefully you find one that is ready to roll for 100k+ miles.

yeah fez that's the one. Got the guy considerably lower than that price but the front bumper paint was kinda off and had few cracks around the corners of the grill, so i'm still trying to talk him down.

How many miles did you have on your car when you sold it? Sell it bone stock?

Well decided against the Cts-v idea so I'm moving on to a 335i. Was able to get one with BMW CPO warranty..Picking it up later today... Will post a better photo when I get it. Already thinking about a JB tune and a few other things after .. nothing crazy though.

Great choice, you will LOVE it. I've tried out the coupe and the convertible. I almost, ALMOST bought one, as in I withdrew the money from the bank... but then I went with another choice.

Yeah not sure what I'm going to do with the wheels just yet. Probably gonna put them on Craigslist and see what I can get out of them then go from there. Might have to rock spacers till I can afford some better wheels.
